Bashar al-Assad began re-establishing diplomatic relations with Arab countries. Recently, the Arab League announced that they also invited Syria to the next meeting.
DIRECT FLIGHTS TO OMAN, BAHRAIN AND DAMASCUS
Assad’s Syria hasn’t been invited there for 8 years. İt will be the first time since then. UAE decided to start direct flights to Oman, Bahrain and Damascus.
“WE ARE PREPARING FOR THE FLIGHTS”
Shafa al-Nouri, the director general of Syrian Air, made an important statement about the plan.
“A delegation of Oman Air visited Damascus International Airport on Thursday and inspected its technical condition as a preparation for the resumption of flights to the Syrian capital.” said al-Nouri.
