Ali Erbaş, the head of Turkish Religious Affairs Directorate, said they endeavored to act as a ‘unifying force’ in the country.
Speaking at the 2nd Romani Workshop, Erbaş underscored that they did not distinguish between people in providing services.
“COMMON CULTURE IS THE BASIS OF OUR SERVICE”
“The basis of the religious service we offer is our common culture, which we have experienced with pain, joy and happiness,” he said.
“In other words, as the Presidency of Religious Affairs, we are trying to be the cement among all our citizens,” Erbaş explained. “We know that we believe in the same God, in the same book, in the same prophet.”
