Four PKK terror suspects were among six people caught while trying to flee to Greece from Turkey, the National Defense Ministry said on Sunday.
The suspects were apprehended by Turkish border troops in the northwestern Edirne province, according to a ministry statement.
In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK – listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US and EU.
The brutal group has been responsible for the deaths of over 40,000 people, including women, children and infants.
