Turkey’s benchmark stock index opened at 1,350.31 points on Friday, down 0.23% or 3.06 points from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index closed at 1,355.07 points on Thursday, with a daily trading volume of 37 billion Turkish liras ($4.7 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate rose from 7.8690 to 7.9020 as of 9:30 a.m. local time (0630GMT).
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate also increased to 9.6130 from 9.5320, while one British pound traded for 10.5530 Turkish liras, up from 10.4780 at the previous close.
