Türkiye’s Istanbul Airport was the busiest airport in Europe during the week starting on July 17 and ending on July 23.
According to Eurocontrol data on Monday, Istanbul Airport saw 1,472 flights on average each day during the week.
It was followed by France’s Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport with 1,385 flights and Germany’s Frankfurt International Airport with 1,339 flights.
