Turkey’s benchmark stock index was up 0.34% to close Wednesday at 1,325.47 points.
Starting the day at 1,330.07 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index earned 4.49 points over Tuesday’s close of 1,320.98 points.
BIST 100 EARNS AROUND 4.5 POINTS FROM PREVIOUS CLOSE
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,808.35 by market close, down from $1,812 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 977.4 billion Turkish liras ($123.45 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 30.98 billion Turkish liras ($3.89 billion).
The price of Brent crude oil was around $48.2 per barrel as of 6.20 p.m. local time (1520GMT) on Wednesday.
