Turkish parliament ratifies extension of troops deployment in Africa

Parliament in Turkey on Tuesday ratified a motion to extend troop deployment in Mali as well as the Central African Republic for another year.
The decision says Turkey will aim to contribute militarily to the resolution of humanitarian and political crises that pose a threat to regional stability and peace in Africa.
It also says that the time of the motion will be determined by the country's president.
The Turkish Armed Forces operate in different countries to join missions and operations conducted by the UN.
