Turkish scientists complete 7th expedition

Scientists aim to shed light on past and future.

Türkiye’s polar research team successfully completed its seventh expedition on the icy continent Antarctica.

Under the auspices of the Turkish Presidency, and with the Industry and Technology Ministry and the Scientific and Technological Research Institution of Türkiye (TUBITAK) MAM Polar Research Institute, a group of 19 Turkish and three foreign scientists worked on 18 scientific projects during the 34-day expedition.

They want to shed light on the past and future of the world

Scientists who collected data on 18 different projects, mainly on topics such as earth, life, physics, social sciences, and global warming, said that they want to shed light on the past and future of the world.

The group, which carried out tremendous and exciting studies in the light of science, expressed that they were fascinated by the rare and unique landscapes of the untouched continent.
