Leipzig city hall tightens the security measures for New Year celebrations after DEAS’ terror attack in Berlin last year. City hall surrounded crowded squares and Christmas markets with concrete blocks. But preparations wasn’t very well received by locals.
Expostulatory messages about Prime Minister Angela Merkel are being written on these concrete blocks. It was taped that some opponents wrote “Thanks Merkel” with graffiti on blocks.
