A magnitude-6.6 earthquake jolted southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region early Thursday, according to official media.
NO DAMAGE OR CASUALTIES HAVE BEEN REPORTED
The Xinhua News Agency said the epicenter was recorded at 33.19 degrees north latitude and 86.81 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles) that hit Nyima County of Nagqu City.
Telecommunication, electricity and water supply remain normal in the county.
