Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will pay an official visit to Latvia on Thursday upon the invitation of his Latvian counterpart Edgars Rinkevics, a statement said.
BILATERAL RELATIONS WILL BE DISCUSSED AT THE MEETING
Çavuşoğlu will be received by Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis, Parliament Speaker Inara Murniece and Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Artis Pabriks, and will hold talks with his counterpart Rinkevics, the statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
During the meetings, all aspects of Turkish-Latvian bilateral relations and further cooperation opportunities between the two countries will be discussed. “Cooperation within NATO and Turkey’s membership process to the EU as well as regional and international issues will be on the agenda of the talks,” it added.
